Now my belated review of the beginning of Kanon. In reality I first saw the raw thursday and have had the sub since yesterday, but my natural laziness kept me from it. Like my fellow bloggers all I can say is good animation blah blah original game music blah blah OH GOD TEH MOE! blah blah why the hell is Nayuki so dumb? blah blah. That last one’s actually important since I really don’t remember her being that ditzy in the 02′ Kanon. Also who noticed all the awesome forshadowing? From Ayu’s dreams, to Yuichi’s comment about hating hospitals next to Shiori, to them seeing fox Makoto on the mountain, and even Nayuki’s wish for them to be together forever. Awesome stuff. Also Kyon’s really not working for me, maybe he should throw a little stalker Mayama voice in there. Overall average, we’re all just waiting for the good emo heart of the story now, along wit Makoto.
