How do you make a mecha-harem show about mind control and pizza even better? Simple, just make it over the top, which Code Geass has just done by giving Lelouch his own group, the Order of the Black Knights. The cheese oozes from that title like it does out of C.C.’s perfect mouth. I love it. Though in reality, no matter how much I love campiness, not a lot happened this episode besides the knigh thing. No developing of characters, and not much in plot. Don’t even know why Zero didn’t shoot Euphemia. This is just a set up for later. And inbetween all the Zero “oh shi-! I can’t believe he did that! ” moments, I noticed something. There isn’t a single female character who is not attractive to me.

Probably not the best example. I’ll take adult Cornelia over loli anyday. Though you have to wonder where all the love went.

Now of course, C.C. is my favorite, since she’s seductive, forceful, and likes pizza. A winning combination of green hair and great ass. Then there’s the second tier characters, consisting of Kallen, Shirley, and Millay. Schoolgirl Kallen is best, seeing how her terrorist hair is ugly as hell, and she’s a lot cuter being embarrassed all the time. Shirley looks great in ponytails and swimsuits, and is great for fighting with Kallen. Millay is awesome for loving to terrorize others, and having huge breast. Always a plus. Then there’s the other characters: Cornelia, Euphemia, Cecile, Viletta, all special in their own way’s (especially Cecile, since she’s voiced by the awesome Kikuko Inoue). What amazes me is that even the background characters look good. For instance, take a look at the nameless female black knight member’s tight ass, or how cute the girl Lelouch has marking the wall everyday looks, even though she looks like a crack addict. I’m gonna call her Druggy-chan from now on.

So clearly my love of Code Geass has gone from ” Lelouch is amazingly Gar ” to ” God, all these girls are insanely hot. ” I guess that’s a good development. Lelouch is still Gar though, seeing how every single one of these women is either already in his harem, or is just one step away (Suzaku’s girls counts as Lelouch’s, as Suzaku is hard gay for Lulu). I’m amazed how Sunrise can take even serious plots and turn them into harem shows so fast. I guess we should be glad their harems work so well. Though I must say ” Boo Sunrise ” for the obligatory recap episode. Hopefully we’ll still have a full 26 episodes to enjoy these women’s valuable ” assets “. I can’t wait till comiket…
