I’m past the halfway point, as I’ve finished Akiha’s route. Now I’m in the ” far side of the moon ” part of the story, and it’s definately a lot different. Arcuied never appeared, and Ciel appears just to give warnings. The whole spotlight was on the tohno family, and Akiha of course.

Akiha’s not the best tsundere around (she’s like a warm-up for Rin), but I really liked her. She could switch from tsun-tsun to dere-dere so fast it was funny. I also think red hair is hot. She really does have a sad story though. Forced to put up with her strict father all that time, and being in pain everynight from her demon blood. Her ending’s aren’t especially happy either. In one Shiki lives, but Akiha becomes a mindless doll that sucks blood, and in the other Shiki kills himself to let Akiha live a normal life. What kind of endings are those?! Akiha doesn’t even get to live happily with her Nii-san! At least Nasu decided to write a good ending for her in Kagetsu Tohya, unlike poor Sacchin.

God, I was crying some serious tears when Shiki killed Satsuki. You never even get to help her at all! Nasu really has a way of torturing his characters. The real Tohno SHIKI ends up being a better villian than Roa. His psychotic ramblings at Shiki were awesome, and his ability to form swords from blood was pretty badass (even though I died from that a couple of times). Like I said before, Nasu really has a thing for sword spamming characters. Hisui route next on the list. Hisui’s always been cute in the other route’s, so I can’t wait to see how uber-cute she is in her own ;).

Also, this is just pointless fun, but after surfing through all the Tsukihime MAD’s this is the cutest one I’ve found. Big help if anyone knows what the song is. And, yes you only get a link. I’m too lazy to deal with a youtube plug-in.
