OMGWTFOTL was released awhile ago as part of al|together 2006, and is a rather…interesting visual novel. Eschewing such traditions as idealistic schooldays, fetishy heroines, and basically everything else cliche about a visual novel, OMGWTFOTL is made of hardcore school punks, badass wrestling masters, and crude randomness. The most basic outline of the story is you, the protaginist, are fighting Osaka Bancho, an incredibly violent, testosterone driven hulk of a man about to punch your face to a bloody pulp. From there it goes to the extremely manly Karl Gotch, Kanagawa Bancho’s perverted tales, and something that comes close to a dating visual novel, before going way off course. The only thing you can do is GENUFLECT OF DIE!! No, don’t ask me what that means. It’ll spoil the fun. So if you have some time check out this incredibly random, somewhat manly visual novel. It’ll make you feel better than Narcissu at least. Or maybe you’ll cry manly tears at how awesome the whole thing is.
