Saigar Update: Group F Round 1
Saigar continues in it’s tournament of wins and failures, as I continue to mourn my loss of being able to vote. Watching people bitch on /a/ about the loss of their favourite character is still fun, though.
Otori Kyouya bankrupts the competition of Giroro and Roronoa Zoro, apparently by being a rich as hell bishounen. Yay capitalism?
Alucard smashes his opponents, The Horse and Alex Row, to a bloody pulp and then eats them, as was expected. The Horse was a joke entry all around, and no one seems to know who Alex Row is, though I’m sure someone will enlighten me.
Maes Hughes beats Vegeta and Aizen’s Couch by dying in a totally manly way. I’ve never really thought of Hughes as gar, but I guess his devotion to his family was gar. Or maybe it was the fighting with knives. He also got more votes than Ginko and Kyouya, his oppenents in Round 2. I wonder how far he’ll get.
Master ” Undefeated of the Motherfucking East ” Asia destroys his oppenents, Yagami Light and Mr. Delicious, like the pussy men they are with his utterly manly scarf martial art skills. Light has never been gar, aside from being able to eat potato chips in an awesome way, and Mr. Delicious is just a fat tub of lard. Clearly I’m way too biased towards Master Asia, but that can’t be helped. Look, the east is burning red!
Ginko surprisingly defeats Kuwabara Kazuma and that sexy disembodied voice Bardiche. Kuwabara even managed to get more votes than Bardiche, though I always did think he was pretty manly, what with the flaming sword and stuff. Though apparently that means nothing next to Ginko’s stylish apparel. Wish I knew where he shopped.
Brad Kid barely achieves victory over Siegfried Kircheis and Sanger Zonvolt. This is a hard blow to the SanGAR group, who even with their mass promotion of this guy that no one outside of /m/ has heard of, lost by only four votes.
Looking ahead, Group G is one powerhouse of manliness. In the first round we have world-class clown Pierrot against GilGARmesh against manly accountant Rock. What an impossible decision this is. Gilgamesh is a type-moon character, so of course he’s gar, but then he’s also arrogant and underestimates everyone. Rock’s had plenty of gar moments, but can also whine a lot. Good thing I’m not voting anymore, or I would have no idea who to choose. In the same round there’s also Sasakura ” Gartender ” Ryu against that king of pimps Ohtori Akio. I watch Bartender, even if I don’t talk about it, and Sasakura is definately gar enough for this. Vote for the Mizuwari.
Now in the round after that we have Char ” Three times manlier ” Aznable vs. Quattro Bajeena, two COMPLETELY different people. Wait, what’s this note? HE IS A CHAR? What does that mean? In the other battle there’s Shishio Gai of GaogaiGAR against Yamazaki Kaoru. I don’t care if Yamazaki is the Queen of /a/, Shishio is so gar it isn’t funny. Just listening to him say GOLDION HAMMER once to see how manly he is.
Third round there’s Revy, who I say is manly enough to be in this tournament. Her only competition seems to be Nagare Ryoma of Getter Robo, another mecha pilot I’ve never heard of, but I’m sure someone will tell me how awesome he is. In the other battle there’s Kunisaki Yukito vs. Sergey Wang vs. Raoh. How is Sergey gar at all? Is it for refusing the sweet sweet flesh of his daughter? Or are we talking about his awesomely insane manga counterpart? Raoh will probably win here, since he’s from Fist of the North Star.
