Mwhahahahahahahahahaha!!*cough*cough*Kallen!*cough*lozenges!*cough*

It’s revelation time on Code Geass, where Lelouch finally finds out that Suzaku is the pilot of the Lancelot. Lelouch’s reaction was just awesome: complete freeze-up and freakout, complete with evil psycho laugh, though Lelouch needs to work on his ” Just as planned ” laugh. Get some advice from Diethard. He was The Count. Of course, this is all the more troubling to Lelouch since he was about to ask Suzaku to be Nunally’s guardian. That’s actually a pretty smart move from Lulu. But I wonder if distancing himself from others will really help. I still forsee an ending where Lulu accomplishes his world conquest, only to find that everyone he cared about is dead. As terrible as a bunch of character deaths are, if Sunrise really wants to make Lulu look evil some people are going to die (current spoilers put Cornelia at the top of the list, but she’s not exactly someone Lulu cares about). Shirley looks like a prime candidate, since even with her memories erased it looks like she’ll rediscover them soon, since she’s found the note she left herself. And that could throw a wrench in everything. Seeing Lulu weighing killing a girl he likes vs. his ambitions would be a great episode. Though, we’ve had too much Shirley recently. A good Kallen arc is necessary. We haven’t really had an episode focused on her since, what, episode 11?

Watch me stand here and be cool while I serve no purpose what so ever.

Oh, and, hey, there’s Toudou. Nice to see you again guy who has no purpose. The only reason Toudou seems to exist is to pilot mecha with swords and provide some kind of link between Suzaku and his past. Yeah, he’ll probably die. Though his new mecha is pretty badass. In fact, the whole fight this episode was awesome. I really like how whole ” mechs on rollerblades ” thing allows for some nice highspeed and intense fights. And I like how the swords Toudou’s group uses aren’t beamswords but just really big chainsaws. A bit more realistic, though I wonder how fast those chainsaws need to go to be able to cut mecha in two so perfectly. And for all this wonderful technology we have Raksharta to thank, who finally shows up this episode. Personally I thought her voice would be sexier. Finally, there’s the whole Suzaku being Euphemia’s Knight now. How predictable. However, this does provide interesting parallels to Lulu’s mother. Current speculation places Marianne as the Emperor’s Knight, which is why a commoner like her could become Queen. Will something similiar happen to Suzaku? I hope not. I couldn’t handle First Man Suzaku. Another recap next episode. There better be none of these in season 2.

(spoiler) Spike dies, courtesy of the Joestar family. (spoiler)

Roy Focker beats Spike Spiegel, 222 to 170. Well I’m happy since I don’t like Spike at all. Still have no idea who Roy is. I think he plays a guitar though, so he can’t be all bad.

Group F is Maes ” Pancakes and Hot Chocolate ” Hughes vs. ” The Undefeated of the East ” Master Asia. You all know where my loyalties lie. Let the East continue to burn red. And if you want Hughes to win make sure to have some pancakes and hot chocolate. Tomorrow is Pancake Day after all (and I have no idea where this pancake meme came from. Though it is rather humorous).
