Here’s a no brainer: a show about incredibly hot girls in skimpy clothing fighting eachother till their clothes rip off. Am I going to watch this? Hell yeah. There are three things men love in this world: hot women, fighting, and more hot women. Ikkitousen promises to have all three in abundance. As for plot, forget about it. It’s some convulated parody of Romance of the Three Kingdoms or something like that. I don’t know. I was distracted by the hot women fighting. The episode begins with my newest favorite lady Ryomou hunting for dragon balls, or some shit like that. Like I said, not paying attention to the plot, just to how awesome Ryomou’s ass looks in that chinese dress. Ryomou also gets points for appealing to one of my many fetishes, specifically eyepatches. I don’t know why, but I find an eyepatch wearing girl damn sexy. Ryomou fits that bill perfectly.

Ikkitousen has the most inappropiate use of chibi’s since Otoboku. And leg warmers are still hot, especially when you wear nothing else.

This is way too obvious. Kanu is clearly Hard Gay for Ryuubi.

Other favorite girl is the tall, dark, sexy Kanu, who apparently is afraid of having too many clothes on. You really have to wonder from a battle standpoint how she protects herself. Though, she does use a spear to apparently killer effect. Another thing that makes Kanu great is that she’s so over-the-top obviously gay for Ryuubi. It’s just painful to watch. It’s like watching Lulu and C.C. together. Kiss her already dammit! Ryuubi actually, despite having ” huge, worthless breasts ” is kind of boring. Only so far being a megane will take a girl. Chouhi’s not that much better, being the rather meh tomboy among all these hot women. I could do without her and Ryuubi’s antics. Get back to Ryomou and Kanu fighting.

Despite her annoying uselessness Ryuubi can be pretty hot, especially when without glasses and naked. That always helps.

Kaku, the resident whore/mastermind. Not to be confused with One Piece’s Kaku who had a square nose.

The rest of the cast is rather boring. All the men are the generic powerful muscle types, whose only purpose seem to be sleeping with Kaku, the manipulative mastermind who gains power by fucking everyone. A more useful Megane than Ryuubi. She has potential. Despite this being a second season and me never even seeing the first or read the manga, it’s pretty simple to tell what is going on. Either that’s some great recap or some bad storytelling. Oh right, back to girl fighting.

And I just have to say that the ED is AWESOME. Not just from an ” aesthetic ” standpoint but the song is great also. Can’t wait for that single release. Though, if only the show animation was as great as the ED’s. Damn censors. For anyone more familiar with Ikkitousen, should I pick up the manga, or just stick with the anime for now?
