It’s on now!

Thank god for Your-Mom. Now I can watch episodes 18 and 19 of Code Geass and understand them. Lot of interesting things to talk about. First off are all the little things in 18. We found out that the Emperor is plenty aware that Lelouch is alive and is Zero. Though, being the uber-bastard he is, doesn’t care at all. He also seems to be aware of C.C.’s people and is very interested in them. More like interested in exploiting them. Then there’s Nina, who despite being racist is the equivalent of Einstein. I can’t believe no one in the CG universe has discovered nuclear power. You got mecha, floating battleships, and energy cannons! What the hell are they all running on? Solar power? I didn’t know Sakuradite was equivalent to limitless energy. It’d be interesting If Nina managed to develop a nuclear bomb. Though in a world of mecha I wonder how much damage that would do. Oh, and Lloyd wants to bed her, but he’s attracted to her brain and not her body. Unlike Millay. But who wouldn’t want to hit that? I keep seeing Lloyd as being the guy who comes out on top, in more ways than one, in the end.

No way has she always been this dumb.

Then there’s the battle on the island and the whole clever plot to trap Suzaku in a jammer field (again, what the hell are these things running on?). Too bad that gets fucked when Schneizel comes with his hax battleship. And Kallen, being the hero that she is, drives her mecha right into the jamming field. Guess what happens. Excuse me, but when the hell did Kallen get so dumb? She’s hanging off of Zero’s every word, is fighting C.C. to get into his pants, his willing to kill Suzaku in public in front of a ton of people, and drives her mecha into a field that shuts down mecha. I know Kallen’s been on drugs for awhile, and this further cements the fact. Can’t wait till she dies ” heroicly ” in a stupid way. Still hot though, especially when her suit is zipped halfway down and her hair doesn’t defy gravity. Schneizel also appeared and he’s actually an interesting guy. I love his ” I’m so bored I’m going to kill people, ” look. He also managed to get Cecile flustered, which was great. Lloyd better watch out and protect his ever growing harem.

Great idea Lelouch. Dig a whole in black leotard in the tropics. Just brilliant.

Now it’s episode 19, also know as ” Lelouch fails at island survival! ” Seriously Lelouch. Making a trap? Aren’t you supposed to be the bad guy who kills people and what not? Be like Suzaku, who captures fish with his BARE HANDS! Sometimes it’s hard to tell who the bigger idiot is: Lelouch or Suzaku. I’m actually starting to Like Euphiemia. She’s not terribly annoying and may be able to knock some sense into Suzaku. She also looks good, which by my shallow definitions means she’s a great character. C.C. had some nice airtime, getting into an arguement with that one punk black knight guy. I loved his line to C.C., ” Aren’t you just Zero’s lover? ” he wishes that. I like seeing the opinions of the crew on C.C. There they are doing all the work while this crazy green-haired lady they’ve never seen before sits around and eats pizza. Not to say that C.C. isn’t important, they just don’t know it.

I’m liking that suit more and more.

Speaking of C.C., looks like we finally got a name for her mystery race. Lloyd calls them Tessera, or maybe where they come from is called Tessera. That mysterious artifacts are definately connected to them. My guess is their probably something like Atlantis or Mu, a super-advanced race from ancient times. Though, what exactly C.C. is trying to accomplish for them is up to debate. Lelouch managed to steal the Gawain amazingly, seeing as how the guy has the Knightmare skills of a three-year-old. I bet Nunnally could outmaneuver him, especially her badass alternate versions. Someone really needs to scanlate Knightmare of Nunnally. So in the end Lelouch did use Geass on Suzaku, ordering him to ” survive ” in order to get out of Gawains laser range. That command seems pretty vague to me. Suzaku mentioned survival a lot in his conversations with Kallen, so could that command of changed something fundamental in him, that he won’t be risking his life anymore? At it looks like the Military is capturing Suzaku again for the little geass mishap. Great. The trial of Suzaku part two. At least the battle of Kyushuu looks interesting, with the Chinese Federation playing a bigger part. World War here we come.

Saigar Final: It’s all over folks.

Most manly epic battle evar or MOST MANLY EPIC BATTLE EVAR?!

Nothing lasts forever. And so the Undefeated of the East becomes defeated at the hands of Guts, at the incredibly close vote of 443 to 438. Wish I was able to vote. A suitable outcome for all. Let there be no tears at the clash of men. Archer still should of won, though.

So there we have it. Saigar is over. Whether it was made of win or massive fail it was still an amazing event. All anime communities, or at least the ones that count, coming together to decide who the greatest of men was. There were lols and tears and faggotry, but isn’t that what makes the internet great? I’ll look forward to this if it comes around again next year. Hopefully there will be a voting system that doesn’t suck and I can actually use. And of course there would be more of my awesome coverage. Cause that’s what really matters.
