Release of Re-Take ~after~
Back at C71 Studio Kimigabuchi released the final volume of it’s re-imagining of Evangelion, RE-TAKE~after~, which has finally been translated into english. An alternative ending to RE-TAKE, where both Shinji and Asuka have lost their memories and Asuka is going back to Germany, forcing them both to recondsider their feelings for each other. A more romantic ending to RE-TAKE. It lacks the more ” wtf! ” moments but is still very good overall. A heartwarming conclusion to Shinji and Asuka’s relationship, and to RE-TAKE as a whole. It should be read by anyone who dare’s to call themselves Evangelion fans.
