Guts defeats Akagi, 285 to 239. Even though I wanted Akagi to win, I must accept the fact that he’s a lot more obscure when compared to Guts. Guts also has that whole cleaving people in two with a sword thing going on. Guts defines the epitome of manly and there is no shame in losing to him. When looking at it, these two characters truly define Gar. Guts is the muscleman who can destroy anything in his path, have any woman he wants, and win against insurmountable odds. Akagi is the other kind of gar, who’s intelligence, charisma, and nature just define him as gar, a man who can do incredible things no matter what the odds. Akagi would still beat Guts in a bet though.
Now it’s time to determine the second man who has the honor of going to the finals. Will it the veritable underdog and champion of /a/ Great Teacher Onizuka. Or, will it be the representative of /m/ the Undefeated of the East, Master Asia. I’m rooting for Master Asia here, but all of my picks have been losing so far so what do I know.
