Visual-Novels.net, that excellent visual novel site I just happen to write for, is looking for an experianced webdesigner/coder. According to Mutio, any applicants should be well versed in HTML and PHP, and know create/modify templates in Joomla CMS System. You may also be able to earn some money by working on it as a part-time job. Mutio, who knows a lot more about this than I do, can be contacted at visual.novels@gmail.com for those interested.

So I’m a Bishoujo Game Blog Now?

So JAST USA, that venerable porn translator of the west, has started a new blog for itself. Not a bad idea, get in touch with the fans and everything, spread the word, etc. Then I see the name, Otakuism.com. But aren’t I Otakuism, and not in a porn company kind of way? First there’s the irony of an eroge fan and writer for a visual novel fansite having an industry blog share the same name as his own blog. Which, admintingly, is pretty ironic. I doubt anyone at JAST USA has ever seen my blog, so it’s not like I’m mad at all. It’s kind of cool actually. I can lie and say I inspired people enough to make a blog about porn. As long as it doesn’t surpass me on the google search for “otakuism,” I’m okay.
