One Year Anniversary Extravaganza!
One Year F**k Yeah!
It was exactly a year ago today that I wrote my first posts for this blog; this very small corner of the internet, and here I am 357 posts, 993 comments, and 153, 228 visits later. Frankly, I’m surprised I’ve even lasted a year. There were, and still are, plenty of reasons for me to quit, but I enjoy the sense of pride I get from posting my own blog, the community interaction, etc. I’ve had my ups and downs, seen the times change; but I’ve tried to keep things the same since I began.
One of those things I kept the same was the layout, which I’ve obviously now changed. I was getting tired of the old style and wanted one a bit lighter in colors. I think everything is working correctly. The only problem is that the posts width is smaller, so all my past images look slightly pixelated, but I like this layout enough to overlook it. Though, if anyone knows a way to resize a bunch of images without having to reupload them one by one, feel free to tell me.
Finally, I’d like to thank all the readers and commenters who have given me the will to continue on with this thing. A lot of gratitude from me for even taking a look at my writings. I hoped you enjoyed most of them. Now that I have a year under my belt, I would like to ask what people think of what I do. How could my writing be changed? Should I cover some things more than others? What do you want me to write about next? After all, without the readers I’d surely be nowhere. Here’s to another great year in the blogosphere. (and there really is no extravaganza, unless I decide to recap how awesome I think my Demonbane posts were.)

Personally, I think you’re have a fine blog; it’s not some overblown fiesta, but I like it alright.
Maybe you could cover something weekly you don’t normally cover? I don’t know, just something random? Otakus aren’t just about eroge, anime, manga, and weirdness, right?

Demonbane can be summed up in three words: LOLZ, loli, and lovecraft. It’s also under categories to the right.

I’ve been seeing a lot of anniversaries lately @_@. Grats! I like the new layout. It’s nice and clean. *goes off to browse through the Demonbane posts*

Nice new layout (bit inspired from ours? *G*).
Well, I like what you write, like that you cover not only anime stuff, but also random otaku things and your manga reviews are interesting and well done.
Not to mention that through you I’ve started with Claymore which is my most fav manga ever
So well, please keep up the good work, hearty congratulations one your 1 year anniversary!
In the future maybe you could also blog a bit about what’s going on in the anime license world as well as general themes. I.e. there was not much time ago something about Singapore. If I remember correctly that the ISPs have been forced to grant access to people who downloaded fansubs. Well, stuff like that would be also interesting to read and to comment on.
But not matter as much there’s out you could write about, a blog is just a hobby so 1 post per day or every 2 days is absolutely fine, better less but high quality

Congrats Demian!! Wow you’ve accomplished a ton of posting in a year. I’d say keep it up and just go with your feeling/instincts.
One thing I always find interesting are posts that still have relevance months after they were written. Time-invariant vs time-dependent articles.

Congratulations! I hope you will continue your blogging for some time, as this anime blog just so happens to be my favourite. I saw a post featuring “Manly Battle Team Animate Force G”, and your style got me insta-hooked.

Congrats. I enjoy your read your posts and the blog layout is fairly easy on the eyes. I don’t really have a problem with your writing style, or your topics, as it entertains me, so I really don’t have any suggestions for improvements. I hope you continue to update this blog in the future.
