Saigar Update: Group H Round 2
Claire Stanfield of Baccanno (277) beats Karaki Zenpachi of Bleach (182) and Roronoa Zoro of One Piece (177). I’m a little surprise that Zenpachi lost here - he did pretty well last year if I recall right - but Baccanno is a popular show this year; I’ve just never seen it.
Ryuuguu Rena of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (271) defeats Ladd Russo of Baccanno (252) and Lloyd Irving of Tales of Symphonia (47). Knew Rena was going to win here, but still had a hard fight with Ladd Russo, another character from Baccanno I must point out.
And so Round 2 finally ends. Now it’s on to the generally more exciting and interesting one-on-one matches. First up is Hosaka vs. Itou Kaiji. Hosaka’s been extremely popular in this tournament, just look at his numbers, but Kaiji isn’t shy to a rabid fanbase either. We’ll see who the winner is when Saigar starts again on the eighteenth.
