Don’t Peek or You’ll See My SHINING FINGER!
Parodies I like to see in Sayonara Zetsubou sensei: Ultraman, End of Eva, G Gundam, and Giant Robo. The first part of this episode is the best segment since the kamen rider parody of episode 1. AMAZINGLY FREAKINGLY HAWT KOMORI IS! That’s just, the voice!…damn. Anyways, moving on. It’d be great to see a semi-serious mecha show from Shaft. If they can give me a serious melodrama like ef, then I know they could do a good robot story. Hell, this episode is plot enough. But you know what would be even better than a Shaft mecha show? More subs!
Agreed, i love all the refrences they load into SZS.
Best one ever was in episode 2 or 3 (forgot which one) when a guy gets a notice from his employer that he has been transfered to Hinamizawa.
Couldn’t stop laughing at that.
A.F.K sure takes awhile to get all the subs out however.

Haha, a SHAFT mecha show… think tht’s already happened in an episode of Pani Poni Dash. AS for a.f.k.’s subbing speed, perhaps the later episodes require even MORE than 2 sets of subs in a scene?

This episode gives me yet another reason to say “GO SHAFT!”
I noticed that this season gives a ton more character moments (Chiri and Komori for instance) it makes the show better than it already is.
