mahq.net gives it as Palace Athene and I go by them when it comes to this stuff.

I guess in a way the ending is similar to the original MSG, as they both end with the hero leaving to reunite with his comrades. My main gripe with the ending is that you would only know that Kamille was in a coma afterwards, which makes his actions before all that weirder.

I'm 99% certain it's 'Pallas Athene' - was it 'palace' in the official subtitles?

I think the thing which hindered my enjoyment most was one of the points you picked out: it doesn't feel like a proper conflict. For me, only the beginning and end of the series conveyed the sense of desperate struggle that I so enjoy in a lot of other parts of the franchise (including the original MSG, despite its ponderousness).

I must admit that for me this is one of the places where the recent compilation/update movie trilogy score: they feel much larger in scope. Which is a little odd, given how they're shorter.

Because I rather like the 'screw you' approach of Zeta's ending, I would've been happy if it had ended exactly the same and hadn't been followed by ZZ, but there you go.
