The Emperor’s New Groove
Is it possible to love a show just for one man’s voice? Cause I tell you Norio Wakamoto just made this episode perfect. The Emperor had more lines this episode than the rest of the show combined, and they were all so awesome. I don’t know how Lelouch plans to defeat the Emperor when all he can do is cower like a little school girl before his awesome, powerful voice. LE-LOOOOSH!
It’s also perfectly normal to freak out after killing the man you’ve been meaning to kill for 39 episodes, instead of, say, dancing a little victory jig over his corpse.
I have no idea why C.C. needs to be naked in this scene, but I’m not complaining. There’s probably still more to the Geass mystery (oh look Jupiter’s hanging out in the sky), but with C.C. all amnesiafied we won’t find out anything more for a while. Code Geass now returns you to your regularly scheduled political thriller, and I use political lightly.

“I have no idea why C.C. needs to be naked in this scene, but I’m not complaining.”
Thought the same thing. My theory is that it was just to show her vulnerable state after she was revealed to have been tool for the original Geass-giver.
On the amnesia bit….I wonder what Kallen will think. Ok other than that. How did see lose her memory?
To be fair about Lelouch freaking out. Killing your father would not be the most pleasant thing to do (On that note good fathers in this show are practically non-existent with the exception of Shirely’s father….who is dead).

The Emperor probably only half did whatever it is that was suppose to kill C.C. So it took away her geass but didn’t completely kill her. Or maybe it’s a natural part of the process to lose your memory.
On absent fathers, do I spot a theme?

Sure, Norio Wakamoto is THAT good. Can’t argue against that.
“It’s also perfectly normal to freak out after killing the man you’ve been meaning to kill for 39 episodes, instead of, say, dancing a little victory jig over his corpse.”
I though that initially..but I later got the impression he was angry at himself, since he didn’t get the chance to ask him about Marianne’s death, demand him to apologize for Nunnally and so forth…like he explains in the very next scene. In other words, he “won” but still screwed up the OTHER half of what he wanted.
“I have no idea why C.C. needs to be naked in this scene, but I’m not complaining. ”
In truth, fanservice is all.
In the show…maybe she doesn’t mind the Nun seeing her naked, since she more or less raised her?

I’m not quite sure how many nuns are comfortable with their wards being all naked around them, but in the face of fanservice all inaccuracies are true.

Geass does love its patricide.
