Yeah, found this episode great but needs some explanations , lots of surprises ( with Anya/Marianne, Marianne isn’t actually the beloved mother Lelouch thought she was, wonder if she didn’t plan her” execution” to trouble Lelouch and turn him crazy?!Waouh!!! This episode was amazingly weird but brought about a lot of material for the next ones, hope they gonna close up soon cause I can’t wait to see how it will turn out to be!!!!Maybe the enemy Lelouch will have to go against is not ” just his father” but also his own mother who seems to be witch - like. When she said “I’m not such a caring mother” it meant she’s a total bitch.

Lelouch has gotten much more badass without all his morals now. Still incredibly melodramatic but in an awesome way.

I really thought the ending parts of both episode 19 and 20 had some great lines for Lelouch (ok well maybe they’re cliche to an extent, but I love em).

It was awesome to see that the Emperor CRINGED after Lelouch destroyed the entrance.

You can’t go far wrong with rotating poo. Granted, you can’t go far right, either - in fact, I’m not sure where you can go, but that’s par for the Geass course.

Norman: At no point has Code Geass taken itself seriously at any point in either season.

As for the Geass thing, I don’t think that was so much a plot gap, as it was stradegy. Lelouch could not afford to have people constantly following Geass orders and potentially growing suspicious (not to mention that such a thing would interfere with his now gone morals). Now that Lelouch has nothing left to lose (or so he thinks), all bets are off.

I think those are supposed to be statues? You can kind of see some arms outstretched or something. I dunno, looks pretty bad.

Also, Suzaku’s assassination attempt was so horrible. Here, I’ll just use this weapon which requires me to get close to the emperor while making as much of a commotion as I can. Never mind the fact that he can erase my memories or anything.
