Good review. I know exactly what you mean about the setting. I liked the steampunk magitech in <em>Demonbane</em>, and the way that that carried through to Demonbane's own design, but it was nice to see <em>SJ</em> give the idea a more serious (perhaps with a hint of noir) treatment. Here's hoping for a longer story in the same setting, or that <em>SJ</em> might encourage some other steampunk anime. Just finished this myself. Good review.
