Reminds me that I have to re-watch Evangelion at some point though. I think the Emperor's behavior does make some sense...he was a hypocrite, but you could say that was his point: because of his tragic past (tm), he was knowingly trolling everyone to act like the Darwinists they are at heart instead of having to lie for the sake of morality, while he worked on something that would go beyond that anyways. The superman/psycho crusher attempt was pretty funny to see, can't deny it. It's kinda obvious why Suzaku is there, out of universe, but I can more or less see what they did there...his way of thinking is closer to Lelouch's than ever and even if he may take revenge for Euphie further down the line (or not), right now it's not a bad idea to work with Lelouch now that he understands what was going on.
