Ok, so I know Bruce didn’t actually win, but this is just too good a picture not to use. Look at that arm throw that rock into the face of despotism!

Actually a good superbowl this year. Haven’t had one of those in a while. Too bad most of the commercials sucked. Too much Fox whoring every show it has, meaningless car commercials, and advertisements by dot-com companies who should’ve died a long time ago. I’m looking at you Godaddy.com.

Shark Fujishiro of Seto no Hanayome (220) beats L of Death Note (190) and Bruce Ironstaunch of Gurren-Lagann (205). Too bad for Bruce. Sure he was a joke character, but he was a fun joke character who was legitimately badass. At least L didn’t win, and I know a guy with the name Shark has to be GAR. Probably the silent badass yakuza kind of GAR you see in Akagi and Kaiji.

Kino of Kino no Tabi (343) slaughters Alucard of Hellsing (229) and November 11 of Darker than Black (256). Looks like I got my wish here. Wonder where all those Alucard voters of last round went? Still great that Kino won. Representing the power of GARMOE little girls everywhere.

For Group C it’s Maebara Keiechi vs. Huang vs. Masa and Allelujah Haptism vs. Michishio Nagasumi vs. Furukawa Akio. Nothing too exciting here, though it’s hard to say who could win. It’ll be interesting to see if the great run of Seto no Hanayome characters continues.
